Justice begins before harm is normalized.
The Premise
“Are we creating a world in which children and future generations are born into safer, healthier, and more sustainable conditions than the generation before them? Climate protection must be measured, not claimed.”

From claim to measurable protection.
Fair Start’s climate protection work focuses on institutional accountability, public education, legal theory, future generations advocacy, environmental justice, animal protection, and measurable public-interest claim review. The goal is not symbolic sustainability. The goal is measurable protection.
01
Institutional Accountability
Reviewing climate and sustainability claims across institutions, and identifying the missing empowerment baselines that make protection testable.
Challenge the claim 02
Legal Theory for the Unborn
Developing equity override and preemptive constitutional injunction theories that protect children, ecosystems, and future generations who cannot yet vote.
Build the theory 03
Future Generations Advocacy
Supporting environmental justice campaigns and policy theories that safeguard the conditions children not yet born will inherit.

Public Education & Action
Publishing research, writing to agencies and officials, building public accountability tools, and developing False Claims Checker reviews.

False Claims Checker
Climate protection is not proven by statements, branding, offsets, net-zero language, or sustainability reports. Fair Start asks three direct questions of institutional valuation and assessment reporting.
Claimed benefit? Affected community? Environmental baseline? Empowerment baseline? Changed over time? Future children counted? Animals & ecosystems counted? Harm reduced or shifted? Independently verifiable?

01
The Fair Start Standard
Are we creating a world in which children and future generations are born into safer, healthier, and more sustainable conditions than the generation before them? Climate protection cannot be measured by promises, branding, offsets, net-zero language, or public statements alone. It must be measured by whether children inherit safer, healthier, freer, and more sustainable conditions.
02
The Problem
Many institutions now speak the language of climate protection. Corporations claim sustainability, universities claim climate leadership, governments claim progress. But many of those claims never answer the basic question: Are the children, vulnerable communities, animals, ecosystems, and future generations most affected actually becoming more protected? Without that answer, climate protection becomes a narrative instead of a standard.
03
Future Generations
Future children cannot vote today. They cannot object at hearings, challenge reports, or correct misleading claims. But today’s decisions shape the world they will inherit. A legitimate climate claim must ask whether the next generation will be born into safer, healthier, more stable, and more sustainable conditions than the last.
04
The Fair Start Test
Does the claim improve the conditions into which children and future generations are born? If an institution claims climate protection while ignoring pollution exposure, fossil fuel dependency, biodiversity loss, heat risk, food and water insecurity, animal suffering, or future generational harm, the claim is incomplete. Measurable protection, not climate branding.
