Every Truth Told Is a Step toward Freedom from Harm

These words are more than quotes; they are an invitation to reflect on the power of honesty and the responsibility we all share in creating a safer, fairer world. Real change rarely begins with comfort. It begins when someone has the courage to say, “This is not right,” and is willing to back that statement with evidence, compassion, and a commitment to finding solutions.

     Why Truth Matters

Many forms of harm continue because they remain unseen, misunderstood, or ignored. Whether the issue is injustice, inequality, environmental destruction, or the challenges faced by vulnerable communities, meaningful progress starts when the truth is acknowledged. Truth helps us understand reality as it is not as we wish it to be. It challenges assumptions, exposes problems that require attention, and creates opportunities for better decisions.

The Counterstream post model and The New York Times articles, do not meet a true zero-baseline approach to equality. A zero-baseline framework requires measuring success by whether inequalities are being reduced for all children equally, regardless of where they are born. Therefore they are inaccurate without explicitly confronting unequal outcomes and the root causes that sustain them, storytelling alone cannot achieve genuine climate justice or equality. Every truth told should move us toward freedom from harm by challenging the systems that value some children’s lives more than others.

Wikipedia Deleting a page of Fair Start Movement cannot delete the truth and hide liability. Vulnerable  Communities will always find new ways to preserve their history, challenge inequality, reveal harms, and uphold a zero baseline where every child’s life carries equal value And African have come up with its Wikipedia page

“Without truth, we cannot build trust. Without trust, lasting change becomes difficult”.

Truth Is the Beginning, Not the End

Two columns compare outcomes. Left (blue): No minimum levels of welfare for children. No equal opportunities in life. No environmental protection. Right (green): Minimum welfare for all kids. Equality of opportunity. Environmental protection.

Speaking the truth is only the first step. Lasting impact comes when truth leads to action.

    That action may include:

    • Listening to people whose voices have been overlooked.
    • Supporting research and evidence-based solutions.
    • Holding ourselves and our institutions accountable.
    • Working together to address the root causes of harm rather than only responding to its symptoms.

Constructive action transforms truth into positive change.

    Courage Creates Change

History is filled with examples of individuals who chose honesty over silence. Their willingness to question accepted ideas, expose injustice, or advocate for those without a voice often became the catalyst for social progress. Speaking the truth is not always easy. It may involve disagreement, criticism, or uncertainty. Yet respectful, evidence-based dialogue remains one of the strongest foundations for solving complex problems.

     You’re Voice Matters

You do not need to hold a public office or lead a large organization to make a difference. Every conversation that promotes understanding, every decision guided by integrity, and every effort to protect others from harm contributes to a better future. Change grows through the collective actions of ordinary people who choose honesty, compassion, and responsibility every day.

  • Freedom for Some, Hardship for Others – Why Every Child’s Life Must Be Valued Equally

Freedom for Some, Hardship for Others – Why Every Child’s Life Must Be Valued Equally

Summary – While some people enjoy abundant opportunities, security, and freedom, millions of children in Uganda and sub sub saharan Africa and other vulnerable communities continue to face preventable poverty, disease, and limited opportunities due to enduring structural inequalities and decision-making systems that undervalue future lives, underscoring the need for policies that recognize the equal worth, dignity, and freedom of every human being regardless of where or when they are born. Freedom for Some, Hardship for Others.

Challenging assumptions that hurt our future infographic

A family in a wealthy part of the United States may enjoy reliable access to food, clean water, healthcare, education, economic opportunity, and the freedom to travel the world, attend major sporting events, and pursue their aspirations with confidence. At the same time, many children in Uganda continue to face hunger, water scarcity, preventable diseases such as Ebola, and limited access to essential services.

This contrast is not simply the result of individual choices. It reflects global economic and political systems that have historically concentrated wealth, power, and opportunity in some regions while leaving many communities in the Global South with fewer resources, less self-determination, and greater exposure to preventable risks.

As Samuel has requested, we must confront the deeper question of freedom. Freedom is not merely the absence of constraints for those who are already privileged. Genuine freedom requires that every person has a meaningful opportunity to live, develop, and pursue their future. When children lack access to healthcare, clean water, education, and protection from preventable disease, their freedom is restricted long before they have the chance to exercise it.

This concern extends beyond Uganda. Vulnerable communities in Uganda and elsewhere also experience disproportionate exposure to poverty, environmental hazards, inadequate healthcare, and economic insecurity. Policies and models that systematically place lower value on the lives and futures of disadvantaged populations contribute to these inequalities, regardless of where they occur.

One important example is the practice of discounting future lives and future harms in economic and policy analysis. When future human lives are valued less simply because they occur later in time, decisions may systematically underinvest in preventing long-term suffering, disease outbreaks, climate impacts, and structural poverty. In practice, such approaches can disproportionately harm those who are already most vulnerable, including children in Uganda and marginalized communities in Uganda.

    Family Planning info card

Truth Alliance “It is difficult to think about these issues only in terms of the future, because the consequences are already with us today. The children and future generations of Uganda and other parts of Sub-Saharan Africa are paying the cost of decisions that were not addressed 40 or 50 years ago. Many racial justice advocates, policymakers, and institutions recognized inequality, yet the underlying structures that perpetuate unequal opportunities and unequal protection from harm were never fully corrected. The result is that today’s generation continues to bear the burden of preventable poverty, disease outbreaks, climate vulnerability, and limited opportunities for self-determination. Political leaders, including President Trump and others before and after him, operate within systems whose costs often fall disproportionately on the world’s most vulnerable communities. We should not continue passing these burdens from one generation to the next. Every generation has a responsibility to confront injustice rather than defer it. That is why we seek change today to ensure that future generations inherit greater equality, greater freedom, and a world where no child’s life is valued less than another because of where they were born.”

Peter and Erica have the opportunity to lead by example. By revisiting and reforming modeling approaches that rely on discounting future lives, they can help advance a framework that recognizes the equal worth and dignity of every human being, regardless of where they live or when they are born. Such a shift would strengthen efforts to protect both present and future generations from preventable harms.

This is not a call for charity alone. It is a call for fairness, consistency, and equal concern for all people. If every child has equal worth, then justice requires more than addressing symptoms. It requires confronting the structural inequalities and decision-making frameworks that allow some populations to flourish while others continue to face preventable poverty, disease, hunger, and insecurity.

There is already an example of this kind of consideration. Bobak Bakhtiari has committed to reconsidering and changing his modeling approach in recognition of these concerns. Peter and Erica could help lead the way as well by adopting models that better reflect the equal value of all human lives and the importance of protecting the freedoms and opportunities of future generations.

A world in which some enjoy extraordinary freedom while others face preventable suffering is neither inevitable nor just. The challenge before us is to build systems that recognize that no child and no human being is worth less than another, and that every person deserves an equal opportunity to survive, thrive, and determine their own future.

  • Why Truth Alliance Exists – Uplifting the Voiceless for Birth Equity and a Fair Start for Every Child

Why Truth Alliance Exists – Uplifting the Voiceless for Birth Equity and a Fair Start for Every Child

There is a moment that should mean nothing and yet ends up meaning everything: the moment a child is born. At that point, no child has done anything to deserve more or less than another. No one has earned privilege. No one has earned hardship. And still, from that very first breath, the world begins to sort children into different paths, some filled with opportunity, others with struggle.

This quiet sorting is one of the deepest injustices we live with. And it is exactly why the Truth Alliance exists.

At its heart is a simple but powerful belief: no child is worth more than another. Not in theory, not in policy, not in practice. This isn’t just something to agree with, it’s something that must reshape how we build our systems from the ground up.

    The Silence That Shapes Inequality

The children most affected by inequality rarely get the chance to speak about it.

They are born into situations shaped by poverty, location, conflict, or neglect things completely outside their control. They don’t choose these conditions, yet they live with the consequences every day. Their silence is not acceptance. It is exclusion.

The Truth Alliance exists to bring these realities into the light not by speaking for people, but by making sure their experiences are seen, understood, and taken seriously. It challenges the idea that unequal beginnings are normal, and insists that every child deserves equal recognition from the very start.

Birth Equity: Where Fairness Truly Begins

Birth equity is a simple idea with powerful implications: every child should start life from the same level of worth.

But that’s not how things work today.

    Instead, access determines value:

    • Some children are born into healthcare systems that protect them; others are not
    • Some have enough food and safe environments; others face daily risk
    • Some step into education easily; others struggle just to get there

These differences don’t stay small; they grow over time, shaping health, income, confidence, and life chances.

The Truth Alliance pushes for a different approach: don’t wait to fix inequality later—stop it from starting at birth.

A Movement Built by Many Voices

The Truth Alliance isn’t one organization speaking from above. It is a shared movement, built by people in different communities who understand these realities firsthand.

Its strength comes from being decentralized because real change doesn’t only come from top leaders. It comes from people on the ground who see what’s happening every day.

    By supporting communities to:

    • Recognize the inequalities around them
    • Document real-life impacts
    • Speak up and push for change

The Alliance creates a movement that is both deeply local and widely connected.

This way, solutions aren’t imposed, they grow from real experiences.

    Making the Invisible Visible

Some of the most harmful inequalities are the ones we don’t easily see.

They are built into systems, policies, and long-standing patterns. They show up in:

    • Differences in child survival
    • Gaps in early development
    • Unequal access to basic services
    • Long-term effects of growing up disadvantaged

The Truth Alliance focuses on measuring these hidden harms because once something is visible, it becomes harder to ignore. Data becomes a tool for truth. And truth becomes a tool for change.

    The Need for Political Courage

Real change requires more than awareness; it requires decisions.

The Truth Alliance calls on leaders to take responsibility by:

    • Rethinking systems that create unequal starts
    • Prioritizing young children in policies and budgets
    • Distributing resources based on need
    • Being transparent and accountable

This is not about helping a few, it’s about correcting a system.

Because fairness cannot exist if children begin life so far apart.

    Imagining a Fairer Start

The vision is simple, but powerful.

    A world where:

    • Where a child is born does not define their future
    • Every life is valued equally from day one
    • Systems protect all children, not just some
    • Communities have the power to shape better outcomes

In that world, fairness isn’t something we hope for, it’s something we build into the foundation.

    From Truth to Action

The Truth Alliance begins with a truth that feels obvious, yet is rarely practiced: no child is worth more than another.

But it doesn’t stop at saying it.

It works to make that truth real by lifting unheard voices, sharing power across communities, exposing hidden inequalities, and pushing for meaningful change. Because every child deserves more than just getting by.They deserve a fair start in life. And that begins with recognizing their equal worth before anything else tries to decide it for them.

  • Recognizing Grassroots Power for Birth Equity, Climate Repair, and Justice in Women Care Groups in Africa.

Recognizing Grassroots Power for Birth Equity, Climate Repair, and Justice in Women Care Groups in Africa.

Summary – “Across Africa, groups of women are coming together in their communities to tackle poverty, hunger, and inequality in simple but powerful ways—supporting families, sharing knowledge, caring for the land, and standing by the belief that every child matters equally”

Across Africa, some of the most powerful solutions to poverty, hunger, and inequality are not coming from large institutions or global conferences. They are coming from women gathered in small circles in villages, under trees, in homes, and in community meeting spaces.

These women care groups are made up of mothers, grandmothers, farmers, caregivers, and community organizers. They work quietly, often without recognition, yet their impact is profound. At the most basic level of society the household and the village they are strengthening families, protecting children, and rebuilding community resilience. In many ways, their work reflects the core values of Truth Alliance and the Tell the Truth Campaign: the belief that real justice begins with honesty about inequality, and with the simple but powerful principle that no child is worth more than another.

    Birth Equity Begins at Home

Birth equity means that every child no matter where they are born—should enter the world with equal dignity and a fair chance to live a healthy life. In many African communities, women care groups are the first line of protection for that principle. They share knowledge about maternal health, safe pregnancy, breastfeeding, and child nutrition. They support pregnant mothers, check on newborns, and help families understand how to keep children healthy during their earliest and most vulnerable stages of life.

But their work goes beyond health education. Women care groups challenge the quiet assumption that some lives matter less than others simply because of where they are born. Through their care and solidarity, they affirm a truth reflected in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights that every human life has equal worth.

    Starting from a Zero Baseline

A powerful idea sits at the center of this grassroots work: every child should start from the same moral baseline.

This “zero baseline” does not mean every family begins with the same resources. Rather, it means that no child should be considered less valuable or less deserving of opportunity.

Women care groups put this idea into practice every day. They create shared food gardens, savings circles, and community support networks so that families facing hardship are not left alone. When crops fail or a child becomes sick, neighbors step in to help.

This spirit of collective care helps prevent the deep inequalities that often grow when families are isolated. It strengthens communities and protects children who might otherwise fall through the cracks.

    Climate Repair through Local Action

Africa contributes only a small share of global emissions, yet African communities often suffer some of the harshest impacts of climate change drought, flooding, crop failure, and rising food insecurity.

Women care groups are responding in practical ways. Many organize kitchen gardens, plant trees, conserve water, and teach climate-resilient farming methods. These small actions improve soil health, increase food production, and protect local ecosystems.

Organizations such as Rejoice Africa Foundation have shown how these community-led efforts can tackle both environmental and social challenges at once. When women grow food locally and restore the land, they reduce hunger while strengthening resilience against climate shocks.

In this sense, their work represents a form of climate repair not only through funding or policy, but through restoring the conditions that allow communities to survive and thrive.

Addressing the Root Causes of Poverty

Too often, development programs focus only on immediate problems distributing food, treating illness, or responding to emergencies. While these efforts are important, they do not always address the deeper causes of poverty and inequality.

Women care groups take a more holistic approach. They work to tackle underlying challenges such as:

    • Poor household nutrition
    • Limited health knowledge
    • Environmental degradation
    • Economic vulnerability
    • Social pressures that contribute to large family sizes

Through open conversation, shared learning, and mutual support, women encourage healthier birth spacing, improved nutrition. They also strengthen women’s voices in household decisions.

Through focusing on causes rather than symptoms, these groups help communities move toward long-term stability.

    Reducing Hunger and Preventable Disease

One of the clearest impacts of women care groups is improved nutrition and health.

Community gardens provide vegetables and fruits that enrich family diets. Nutrition education helps mothers prepare balanced meals for children. Hygiene and sanitation practices are shared through trusted relationships, allowing life-saving knowledge to spread quickly from one household to another.

These simple steps help reduce malnutrition and prevent diseases that continue to affect millions of children worldwide.

The result is powerful: healthier mothers, stronger children, and more resilient communities.

    A Movement Rooted in Truth

The experience of women care groups teaches an important lesson: lasting change rarely begins in distant offices or international meetings. It begins where life itself begins—in families, neighborhoods, and villages.

By caring for one another and protecting the next generation, these women are already practicing the vision promoted by Truth Alliance and the Tell the Truth Campaign.

Their work quietly exposes a global contradiction. Many systems speak about equality while allowing deep inequalities at birth to persist.

Women at the grassroots are showing that a different path is possible.

No Child Is Worth More than Another

The principle is simple: every child has equal worth.

But if that truth is taken seriously, it has profound implications for how the world organizes its resources, policies, and priorities.

Climate policy, health systems, development funding, and economic opportunity must all reflect that same commitment to human equality. African women working through care groups are already living this truth through everyday acts of cooperation, compassion, and resilience. Their leadership offers a powerful blueprint for a more just world.

The responsibility now is not to replace their efforts but to recognize, support, and learn from them.

When communities begin with the understanding that no child is worth more than another, justice stops being a distant idea. It becomes something real grown in gardens, shared across households, and protected by women determined to secure a better future for the next generation.

  • A Model Constitutional Action for Political Equity? California Has a Chance to Be the First.

A Model Constitutional Action for Political Equity? California Has a Chance to Be the First.

What if one could sue to protect one’s effective voice in their democracy, and to be able to meaningfully control the outcomes of their political system. At Fair Start, we think people can do that, and that governments are obligated to ensure that their authority derives from actually empowering those subject to it.

Last month, Fair Start Movement and TruthAlliance.global filed an institutional complaint with the University of Denver, and complaints with the Colorado state officials regarding illegal baselining and equity fraud at the school, specifically in an animal law program that spent millions claiming to further animal rights while ignoring the largest driver of animal suffering: Inequitable growth.

    Our open letter is here.

Instead of using a fixed standard/baseline like birth equity and its inseparable connection to the creation of human relations with animals (like donkeys threatened in the ejiao trade) – relations which will define those animals’ lives, the school uses a system of moving goalposts to constantly assess public interest progress and raise more funding.

But relative to the fixed standard – birth equity – that was necessary to actually protect animals from deadly growth, the progress was being easily undone daily, and the baseline standard the school used had the effect of enriching mostly white children at deadly cost to children of color.

Those like Trump did not simply win. The progressive systems meant to block him were corrupted.

Fair Start Movement confronts the illegalbaselining and false claims wealthy funders and those they fund make about their public interest impacts, claims that hide liability for the climate crisis, decline of democracy, vast inequity, and other horrors facing us today. These claims skew the standard for climate policy and life-saving reparations. You cannot help animals on balance without accounting for their relations with humans. Helping them requires the same fundamental change children of color need – reforming fundamental illegitimacy – but that’s the last thing those who made their wealth on illegitimacy want to deal with.

The complaint against the school centers on claims the school made about its impacts, the baseline model for assessing values the school used to model those claims, use donor funds, and refusal to return hundreds of thousands of dollars to one funder in particular.

That donor lives in California, and is now calling on the state Attorney General to take action against the school, given how the funds were solicited, and spent. The state has authority to act to protect its citizens, and the donor backs an animal or eco-centric standard for assessing what constitutes benefits for animals, as standard that Fair Start has advocated for before the California Attorney General.

The fix? There is a constitutional cause of action against illegal baselining/equity fraud, based on unfair competition theory, to reverse the failures and ensure political equity and the rights-based limitation of power relations. Those willing to assess and pay the costs of preemptive child-equity could never compete against those willing to exploit future children and animals, while claiming to do public interest work.

That standard has been advocated for at the United Nations, African Union, and in many other contexts.

In the end, the controversy surrounds whether wealth can fund charade versions of public interest work and interventions, charades that use the same fundamental standard that caused the climate crisis, autocracy, massive inequity, etc., or whether we all are to be held accountable using the truly legitimate and protective standard that would have prevented the crises, and can still save countless lives.

Why urge the state to act? It’s not on everyday people to legitimate governance by themselves. Governments and the wealthy that control them are first  obligated to act, starting with the substantiation of their claims.

Hence this an opportunity for California itself to shift the baseline it uses to assess legitimacy, leaving aside the anthropocentric and “separate but equal” reproductive rights system / baseline that creates commercialized and disenfranchising relations, and choosing to move towards the legitimate, fundamental baseline of “no child is worth more than another / one person, one equal and influential vote” that underlies legitimacy. Again, you cannot help animals on balance without accounting for macro animal rights and personhood, with a focus on their future relations with humans. Helping them requires the same fundamental change children of color need – reforming fundamental illegitimacy – but that’s the last thing those who made their wealth on illegitimacy want to deal with.

    Regardless:

If it’s illegal to use a business model that prohibits hiring or housing persons of color, it’s illegal to structure cost/benefit business models to enrich some children at deadly cost to children of color. Use of that model hides liability for the deaths of tens of millions as the climate crisis intensifies, and reflects the academic and public interest practice that ensured the polycrisis: Constantly moving goalposts away from the infant-health-as-enfranchisement standard necessary for political legitimacy in order to falsely claim truth, or victories, and to thus raise funds.

Unless a person or company claiming to add value to the world can show they were evaluating and reporting by accounting for the preemptive costs of having to measurably empower all children equitably as they enter the world – and at a standard where those children could protect themselves from the climate crisis, autocracy deadly inequity, etc. – the person or company making the claims was using an illegal baseline, a Ponzi/equity-fraud standard that benefits them at deadly cost to others, and mostly children of color.

The Fair Start Movement and TruthAlliance.org are now communicating with the California Attorney General regarding the need to protect their citizens from illegal baselining and equity fraud.

  • Freedom Cannot Be Granted to Equity Fraud

Freedom Cannot Be Granted to Equity Fraud

We cannot keep calling something “progress” when it leaves children unsafe, families struggling, and the land exhausted. Freedom and legitimacy should never be given to wealthy individuals or organizations that operate under fake equity standards—standards that ignore how children are born into the world, how families survive day to day, and how the environment that sustains life is treated. Equity is not just about how much money is made. It starts much earlier with safe births, strong families, clean water, healthy land, education, and the protection of children’s lives. When these basics are ignored, the wealth that follows is not neutral. It is built by taking more than is given back.

Today, many powerful actors hide behind numbers that look impressive but tell only part of the story. These numbers leave out family reform, birth equity, and climate impact. This is not accidental. It is a choice. And that choice has consequences especially for children and communities living on the frontlines of environmental and economic harm.

     Two Lives, One Broken System

Dickson’s frustration comes from what he sees every day. Children dropping out of school. Families stretched thin. Communities facing drought, pollution, and land pressure. Mothers giving birth in conditions that no one should accept. His concern is not theoretical, it is personal, urgent, and deeply human.

At the same time, Paul Shapiro’s Company is thriving within this same system.

As communities struggle, Shapiro Paul’s meat company has grown. He is now a millionaire. But this success has come at a real cost to families and children in places like Amboseli, where environmental damage, land stress, and the absence of family-centered reforms are rarely counted in profit reports. When wealth grows while children suffer and land is depleted, something is wrong. That is not development. That is equity fraud.

See here more information on Paul Shapiro as an example

     What Fake Standards Leave Out

Fake standards make harm invisible. They allow wealth to grow while erasing:

    • The conditions children are born into.
    • The damage to land, water, and climate that families depend on.
    • The absence of family and birth reforms.
    • The long-term impact on education, health, and community survival.

When environmental destruction and family breakdown are excluded from “impact,” success becomes a performance. Injustice becomes normal.

Climate justice and family reform cannot be separated. When land is polluted or overused, families lose food, health, and stability. When families are unsupported, children become vulnerable to illness, exploitation, and early death. Ignoring this connection is not neutrality—it is participation in harm.

     A Silence That Speaks Loudly

Years ago, we sent a concept note to Paul Shapiro. It focused on seeds for the future, family reform, community equity, environmental responsibility, and protecting children. There was no response. No engagement. No support. Years later, his company is flourishing. Meanwhile, Truth Alliance continues to struggle to raise funds, not because the work lacks value, but because it refuses to lie, inflate numbers, or separate profit from responsibility. Truth is harder to fund than comfort.

    A Simple, Necessary Demand

Truth Alliance is not asking for charity. It is boldly asking for honesty and accountability.

We are calling on those who have benefited from broken systems to:

    • Acknowledge harm to families, children, and the environment
    • Stop hiding behind incomplete or fake standards
    • Measure success through climate responsibility, family reform, and child well-being
    • Take responsibility for wealth built on silence and extraction

Freedom without accountability is not freedom.
It is exploitation. If equity does not protect children at birth, support families, and care for the land they depend on, then it is not equity at all. And we can no longer pretend otherwise.

  • An Open Letter to United States Black Liberation Organizations. Take Action.

An Open Letter to United States Black Liberation Organizations. Take Action.

Fair Start reforms offer the most just and effective way to address many of today’s overlapping crises—but only if public-interest claims are evaluated using the right standard. Anyone claiming positive impact should be asked a basic question: How did your cost-benefit model account for children entering the world, and did it meet what those children’s legal rights, political equity, and national legitimacy require? In most cases, the answer is that it did not.

Children are typically treated as economic inputs driving growth, while the ecological, political, and human costs of that growth are ignored or illegally discounted. This produces “free” wealth that depends on worsening conditions – especially for children of color – and contradicts the values advocates claim to hold, such as safety, equality, and sustainability. The result is continued overshoot of ecological and social thresholds that both humans and nonhumans need to survive.

    Family Planning info card

How is such a contradiction possible?

Between 1948 and 1968 world leaders effectively subverted the ongoing decolonial and racial justice movements with a human rights regime premised on a fraudulent standard: Autonomy or self-determination without the necessary condition of measurable political equity or empowerment. That fallacy fundamentally operates through an arbitrary and floating baseline present in almost all private and public cost/benefit modeling that illegally discounts future lives, and a universal but illegitimate reproductive rights regime devoid of children’s rights and political equity standards, which avoids applying limiting values to the birth-creation of power relations, and which has mostly protected long generations and growing concentrations of wealth.

Even a basic review of history will show women “liberated” by the United Nations “separate but equal” standard of treating having and not having children as a matter of personal autonomy (with parents taught to treat their children as means and not ends, generation after generation) now face dying in heat waves fundamentally driven by inequitable growth. Their predicament was worsened by low-impact social justice interventions, like attempts to eliminate greenwashing, that themselves used a definition of “green” and high permissible emissions geared to paltry early childhood development investments all meant to exploit growth and enrich the mostly white children of the funders backing the U.S environmental organizations, at deadly cost to millions of Africans.

The standard treated children, and thus future generations, as means rather than ends, and it ignored that persons not documents constitute nations, and almost inevitably through collective family planning efforts that ensure a minimum threshold of empowerment for all children. That threshold – a real border to replace the fictitious ones nations use today – enables consensual governance, avoiding each person’s loss of self-determination to the billions of others occupying and changing the planet. The real border makes consent possible.

Read more about threshold borders here, and to understand why Trump is a symptom and not the cause of all the harm he has done.

That wealth, which enables a form of white supremacy, was built by not having to be legitimated – by not having to pay the costs of child rights and equity, and thus legitimacy, and by ensuring unsustainable economic growth that has enriched a few at deadly and illegal cost to many, mostly children of color. The reproductive rights regime has lasted less than a few decades before causing catastrophic overshoot and degradation of multiple threshold conditions  – ecological, social, and political – vulnerable children and animals need to survive and thrive, and it is impinging on the fundamental right of current and future generations to have children in safe and empowering conditions.

The Illegal Wealth Bubble Driving Outcomes

Today there is a massive wealth bubble at the top of our political and economic systems that derives from the use of a racist and fraudulent family policy, dating back to the standards that were set in human and reproductive rights regimes circa 948-1968. By privatizing reproductive rights, existing concentrations of wealth and power could maintain their entitlements, and could externalize their costs on the most vulnerable, at an existential level instead of legitimating political systems through child rights and equity-based creation of power relations.  Instead of using bodily autonomy as the ethical basis of a right not to have children, and child equity as the basis of a right to have children, they used bodily autonomy for both. That eliminated all functional protections in the most influential stage of power relations.

This gutted racial justice and human rights / legitimation efforts – taking the key step out of the process. The move was – at the most fundamental level – illegal because under it there are no legal protections for / obligations to the most vulnerable: children are brought into conditions that violate their rights, with after-the-fact interventions and applications of rights, after adults have already gotten the benefit of exploiting them. This in turn threatens political legitimacy, inserting a false premise in which citizens have been expected to follow the law without actually being empowered by it.

The wealth from that growth now funds a legion of professionals – lawyers, academics (many of whom do not account for birth positionality and thus lose neutrality in their work), reporters/editors, campaigners, and paid fundraisers – who act as decoys creating a fantasy world of social justice undone daily by intergenerational and fundamental injustice

Many of these have tried to sabotage Fair Start reforms, in order to hide liability, and will be outed in the year to come.

These professionals protect and expand the wealth by omitting the countervailing impacts of children entering the world in conditions that violate the children’s rights and disenfranchise them, impacts that contradict the value assessments and public interest impacts the professionals claim.

Many benefit from this high-stakes birth lottery system, and then use their privilege to create the misleading appearance of solving it. Their lives are worth no more than the infants dying in the heat waves caused by the wealth bubble these professionals created.

    Taking Action

That omission constitutes legally actionable equity and impact fraud (EIF) – using downstream and micro assessments and reporting to mask upstream and macro forces illegally enriching some at deadly cost to others. There is a preemptive right and cause of action to block EIF because governments authority derives from empowering those subject to it – and governments cannot redefine the object state of what it means to empower subjects just to avoid liability for the climate crisis.

Widespread use of the standard – and the discourse that situates (or constitutes) each of us in the intergenerational body politic – makes it physically impossible to limit the power humans have over one another, so that each person can be self-determining. Fair Start activists have witnessed multiple attempts by this professional class to hide collective liability for the deaths of millions as the climate crisis accelerates.

This is intentional reparations fraud, the attempt to skew the metrics for avoiding, and compensating for, untold climate-related and other deaths caused by illegal birth inequity and the growth it causes.

Use of the fraudulent standard – which derives from the maintenance of the racist “separate but equal” standard of the Twentieth Century, tucked away in reproductive rights regimes as a form of autonomy designed to gut political equity, is preempted by a variety of laws, and can be targeted as unfair competition under state law.

How? Because vulnerable entities and those who represent them, like TruthAlliance.Global  – can’t compete with those who use the equity fraud model. Use of that standard constitutes the ongoing subversion of racial justice and other decolonial movements, and the hiding of collective liability for the deaths of millions as the democratic disenfranchisement and  climate crisis.

Anyone can spot the standard  of private benefit and public costs and its manufactured numbers using an AI-based XYZ analysis where claim X is assessed for how the cost/benefit modeling accounted for what children were owed as they entered the world (high levels of permissible harm v. self-determination, or zero), the largest factor altering the X claim to in fact be Z).

When confronted with these truths by TruthAlliance.global, many have just continued, hiding collective liability for the deaths of millions, and intentionally omitting the impacts of the largest driver.

If anyone used in their business or nonprofit work a valuation model premised on valuing as a benefit not hiring persons of color, they would be subject to civil rights injunction by state government. Using a model that generally enriches mostly white children at deadly climatological and other costs to mostly children of color, and doing so in part by disenfranchising them, is worse than a discriminatory hiring model, and is also illegal.

Constitutional discourse, about what we owe future generations, can bring change. For example, Fair Start is urging Paul Shapiro – an influential animal rights activist who helped defined policy for decades, now turned industrialist, to Tell the Truth about his impacts and to evade what many movement strategists see as the danger of interest convergence activism. Others are changing the world for the better by embracing the primacy of black birth equity.

Our work is having an impact. We pointed out that Wikipedia used the EIF standard in reporting the misleading impact claims of one environmental organization. Wikipedia retaliated by deleting the Fair Start Movement page, hiding liability for low editorial standards that have exacerbated the climate crisis, and that hide editors’ individual conflicts of interests.

But taking our claimed values seriously, ensuring a future defined by them, requires fundamental change and not lying about one’s impacts while quietly undoing them for personal benefit.

Total liberation lies not in top-down power, constitutions that do not empower people, and disconnected leaders drawing fictitious borders on maps, but in decentralizing power through collective reproductive rights systems that are based on love – and proven by ensuring measurable political equity for all children and thus national legitimacy.

Fair Start – which now operates mostly as a limitless network of whistleblowers targeting those above them – is intent on showing EIF as the fundamental driver of the crises we face today, and preempting it at the federal level in the United States by 2028 via specific grassroots, legal and corporate reforms to ensure the United States (which has had a disproportionate impact using the standard to undercut freedom around the world) and other nations begin to fundamentally legitimate. This entails moving illegitimate wealth to save countless innocent lives as a fundamental form of universal resistance to oppression.

TAKE ACTION: Back TruthAlliance.global and this simple truth: No Child is Worth More Than Another. For our supporters we urge specific avenues – Take action: 1) Become a whistleblower and grassroots organizer with Truth Alliance, 2) demand truth and reconciliation with our Tell the Truth campaign, 3) urge your attorney general or other law enforcement  to seek a “legitimacy injunction” blocking use of the standard, and 4) back legitimacy certification for those who come forward and are willing to change accelerates.

One solution? Ensure a preemptive, legal cause of action for constitutional equity, starting with preempting the state law standard for basic consumer fraud cases, and moving into civil rights and constitutional litigation to elevate the primacy of black birth equity:

We will style the first suit as unfair competition on behalf of the Truth Alliance (TA) coalition. At base that coalition means admitting in truth and reconciliation that not prioritizing political equity as a fundamental norm has done more harm to our world and values than downstream public interest interventions have done good.

While the litigation and policy work will cite positive law and authority, our position is that the fundamental legal authority is a grundnorm that measurably and equitably empowers the constituents of any legal system. Documents, like constitutions, do not constitute political entities. People do. And the authority for courts to set precedent around the “one person, one vote” standard for equal protection derives from and is conditioned in a primary rule of constitutional equity and empowerment, a requirement logically inherent in the phrase “We the people” and similar conditions premising constitutions, treaties, and other legal instruments.

Will you join the TA coalition?

It starts by simply bifurcating those into admit the above, and want change, and those who do not:

    A sample engagement question:

_________’s  claimed value add does not account for child inequity, and treating children of color as deserving of less, and disenfranchising them. That’s illegal, and a mistake that caused horrible outcomes that are undoing _______’s claimed value add, including allowing our governments to never actually empower the people they claim to represent.

A Quiet Driver of Climate Death? A Wealthy Professional Class Creating a Fantasy World of Social Justice Impact.

    How is such contradiction possible?

The wealth from that growth now funds a legion of professionals – lawyers, academics (many of whom do not account for birth positionality and thus lose neutrality in their work), reporters/editors, campaigners, and paid fundraisers – who act as decoys creating a fantasy world of social justice undone daily by intergenerational and fundamental injustice, and who protect and expand the wealth by omitting the countervailing impacts of children entering the world in conditions that violate the children’s rights and disenfranchise them, impacts that contradict the value assessments and public interest impacts the professionals claim.

As another climate conference kicks off there are more deadly emissions being released that ever before.

Want to understand the most just and effective solution to many of the world’s crises, like climate change, today?

Ask anyone proposing an intervention to tell you how they have been accounting for children as a key factor in their work. Factcheck it with AI. You will be surprised.

Inequitable growth has put more animals and children in conditions of abuse, neglect and suffering than any organization has been able to save, and that’s before we factor in compounding factors like the climate crisis, and the decline of democracy.

We rarely talk about how growth and inequitable birth positionality undo the very work we claim to be doing because it benefits those at the top, often the same people funding us. But the truth is this: It’s illegal and unethical to assess value and report impact while omitting key facts, manufacturing numbers, and ignoring the real costs. Those omissions enrich a few while disenfranchising and endangering others—mostly children of color. Decades of this deceit have led, quite literally, to the deaths of millions.

Measurable political equity is a necessary condition of being free, but the privatization of reproductive rights in the Twentieth Century made assuring that equity impossible. The fix is to require it as preemptive standard today, implemented through fundable birth equity standards.

No child is worth more than another.

Take Action: Engage those, like Bob Sternfels, who benefitted from a system that has killed millions to tell the truth and change course and move towards Fair Start Certification.

The core discourse to engage in the solution:  “_______’s claimed value add does not account for political inequity, which is caused by our all treating children of color as deserving of less than white children, something that has for decades slowly disenfranchised at risk communities. That’s illegal, and a mistake that caused horrible outcomes that are undoing our claimed value add to the world, including allowing our governments to never actually empower the people they claim to represent. Use of any standard that ignores political equity means actively harming others, while slowly disenfranchising persons of color. Choose the Equity/Fair Start standard instead. Freedom is universal democratic empowerment, not exploiting arbitrary but massive differences in birth positionality and empowerment.” One is either part of a system of mutual obligation, or not, and asking these questions helps determine where others stand.
